Yasmin Dar and Sal Fasi wanted a traditional Pakistani Wedding to showcase their beautiful heritage with a modern touch, and we believe they succeeded.

 

On the day of the wedding, the Hawaii wedding photographers at Visonari had the honor to photograph the gorgeous couple at Doris Duke’s Shangri La near Diamond Head. Its Islamic art collection and vivid art deco panels truly enhanced the traditional wedding outfits that Yasmin and Sal had on that day creating a colorful array of spectacular images. It was nice having a little bit of the East right here in Hawaii.

 

The wedding at The Royal Hawaiian hotel, later that day, was magical. There was nothing but blue skies as the bride and groom said their “I do’s,” and then the celebration continued into the ballroom for the evening’s festivities. The night was filled with smiles, traditional dances and touching moments among the families, friends and newly married couple.
